It has become routine for Disney to offer virtual queues for new rides at Disney World. The virtual queues usually only stick around for a bit and end up changing over to the standby queue that is more common.
Since July, guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resort have had the option of purchasing the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or the Single Pass. Now Disney is adding a third option. However, when this option begins it will only be available for Deluxe Resort hotel guests for the time being.
Today is the fist day for the new Multi Pass and Single Pass system. Guests can now choose up to three attractions to visit in advance, kind of like the old FastPass+ system. Since I happened to be in Disney for the fist day, I decided to give it a try.
Disney recently announced that the Lightning Lane system will be changing soon. In less than a month, on July 24, guests will be able to pre-purchase the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or the Lightning Lane Single Pass.
