Today is the fist day for the new Multi Pass and Single Pass system. Guests can now choose up to three attractions to visit in advance, kind of like the old FastPass+ system. Since I happened to be in Disney for the fist day, I decided to give it a try.
To be completely honest, I was very surprised at how easy it was to use this morning. A lot of times when Disney implements something new there are crashes or glitches with whatever is being launched, but I did not experience any of that. I was able to get what I was looking for and it was pretty straight forward and quick to do.
When it is time to book your passes, go to the My Disney Experience app. One the home screen you will see the tile that says Lightning Lane, Multi Pass and Single Pass, this is what you want to choose. Next you will be asked to pick the fist date you want to make selections and then you will be asked to pick the park. Each park will have the cost of the day next to it and the cost will vary depending on the day and park. Today for the Multi Pass, Magic Kingdom is $29 per person, EPCOT is $21 per person, Hollywood Studios is $26 per person, and Animal Kingdom is $18 per person. The Single Pass attractions will be an extra cost, as an example the Tron Single Pass cost $20 per person today.

After you select your pass option the next screen will let you choose your three attractions. For the Multi Pass Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios have two tiers. Guests may choose 1 attraction from the first list and 2 (or 3 if no attraction was chosen from the first list). A time will be given for each selection, but there is an option to modify the time, if you would like. Once the selections have been made guests can move on to another day.

Guests staying on Disney property can make selections 7 days before their arrival date for their length of stay. Those staying off property can make their selections 3 days before the date of the first visit to a park. So whether you are staying on property or not it will be nice not to have to get up early anymore to do the Lightning Lane selections.
