Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of Magic Kingdom’s most popular events. With fun shows, a popular parade, trick-or-treating, special food options, and more, this is definitely a fun time at Magic Kingdom.
This year, the party will run on select nights from August 7 to October 31. Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green will get the first chance to purchase tickets next week on May 5. For those not staying at a Disney World hotel, ticket purchases will open on May 12. Discounts on tickets will be available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. Ok, let’s get into the details.

Trick-or-Treating
This is a fun part of the party for a lot of people. Getting to trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom is such a unique experience. Plus, the amount of candy cast members give out at each stop will fill out bags quickly (definitely bring a bigger bag, Disney only gives tiny ones). At each stop guests will get scoops of things like M&Ms, Snickers, and Starbursts.
As it gets closer to summer, Disney will announce more details, like which attractions will be open during the party. Special Halloween party food and merchandise will also be announced at a later date.
