Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always, there were some good guesses, but six people knew exactly where to find the fireplace.
Congratulations to Abbie, Cindy, Caroline, Kathy, Robbie T, and Lori, who all knew the fireplace can be found at the Grand Floridian. Specifically, it can be found at the Enchanted Rose in the main building. The Grand Floridian is one of the Magic Kingdom resorts and has a stop on the monorail loop. So if you are spending an evening checking out different restaurants and lounges around the monorail loop, you will definitely want to make a stop at the Enchanted Rose.
As the name implies, this lounge has a Beauty and the Beast theme. The decor is subtle and sophisticated, more in line with the live action Beauty and the Beast rather than the cartoon. It’s a nice place to sit back, relax, and end a busy day in Disney World. The impressive chandelier in the main part of the lounge is themed after Belle’s signature dress and it is beautiful. In addition to the main lounge, guests can sit in the library, the garden room, or on the outdoor patio, which all keep to the Beauty and the Beast theme.
In addition to the drink menu, the Enchanted Rose also serves snacks from 3:30pm – 10pm and appetizers from 5pm – 10pm. Find things like house-made beef jerky, warm marinated olives, Guajillo-spiced mixed nuts, charcuterie, flatbread, caviar, croquettes, and house-made truffle fries available on the menu.
Congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the fireplace and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon. Have you ever been to the Enchanted Rose?
Thanks for reading!
