Yesterday, I posted the picture above and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but I think this one was a tough one.
In addition to the enjoying all the details, there are some good dining and shopping options in the Germany Pavilion. It’s easy to spend some time exploring the pavilion. You can grab a giant soft pretzel and enjoy it while you do some shopping. Or enjoy some streusel at one of the outdoor tables. It’s a nice place to take some time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
Shopping and Dining Options
- Dining
- Biergarten Restaurant – Buffet restaurant with communal, biergarten-style tables.
- Sommerfest – Quick Service
- There is also a window that serves beer and big soft pretzels.
- Shopping
- Das Kaufhaus
- Der Teddybar
- Die Weihnachts Ecke
- Glaskunst
- Karamell-Kuche
- Kunstarbeit in Kristall
- Stein Haus
- Volkskunst
- Weinkeller
Another fun option in the Germany Pavilion is meeting Snow White. She meets throughout the day so you can check the times guide or check the times in the My Disney Experience app. Like many character meet and greets, the line can get a little long, so if you want to meet her the earlier the better to get in line.
If you have anyone in your group that loves trains then something else you can see at the Germany Pavilion is the miniature train display. This is a decent sized display with a bridge going over the two sections. There are a few trains that ride around the tracks, including going through tunnels under the bridge that guests stand on. It’s a really fun stop around the World Showcase, and that includes fun for both kids and adults. I’ve seen adults just as excited (if not more) as the kids about the train models chugging along the tracks through the little towns in the display.
Whichever direction you are traveling around the World Showcase, I would say to make Germany one of your stops for sure. There’s so much to see and do (and eat!).
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the light is located! We’ll play again next Wednesday!
Have you explored the Germany Pavilion?
Thanks for reading!
