After Hurricane Irma made her way through the state of Florida, Disney has been doing some cleanup. Most of the property was able to open for business on Tuesday, September 12, but there were a few exceptions.

Fort Wilderness Campground Closed Until Further Notice
Most of Disney World reopened today after being closed for two days due to Hurricane Irma. However there are some exceptions and one exception is Fort Wilderness Campground.

Now that Hurricane Irma has passed, Disney has announced that most of Disney World will go back to regular operating hours. However, some areas on property will remain closed so Disney can assess damage to the property.

Hurricane Irma has already caused extensive damage in the Caribbean and is now headed for Florida. In anticipation of this and in order to keep guests safe, Disney has announced some closures and cancellations.
