Yesterday it was announced that Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show would be closing on April 2, 2016. There was mention of other closings as well in the nearby area, but nothing specific. Now we have some specifics.

With the additions of the lands for Toy Story and Star Wars there will inevitably be some attractions that need to close to make way for the expansions. The Osborne Lights was the first casuaity, but now Disney has announced a second.

Sometimes you just want to grab a quick bite to eat while you are in the parks. So, in this series we’ll explore quick service options in the parks. Hollywood Studios doesn’t have as many quick service restaurants to choose from as Magic Kingdom and Epcot do, but it still has a decent amount for the size of the park

Character dining is something everyone should experience at least once in Disney World. We usually try for a couple on each trip. The kids love meeting all the characters, but it also makes for some great photo opportunities for the adults too.

Disney has been doing a lot of tightening of their security recently. With everything that has been going on in the world, it’s no surprise that they would want to do this in an effort to keep their guests safer.

Hollywood Studios has fewer attractions than Magic Kingdom and Epcot. So, I decided to include some of the shows that are in the “Entertainment” category on Disney’s website. There will be more attractions to choose from once the lands for Toy Story and Star Wars are both done.

Recently Disney has live streamed the Halloween party and the Christmas party and it looks like they are going to continue to bring us popular shows and events via live streaming. Disney is adding lots of Star Wars experiences to Hollywood Studios and now they will be adding a fireworks show, which they will live stream on the night it debuts.
If you have been to Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios, you have probably seen the ears and headbands that will light up along with the show. Well, that technology is starting to make its way to other parts of Disney World.
