With the additions of the lands for Toy Story and Star Wars there will inevitably be some attractions that need to close to make way for the expansions. The Osborne Lights was the first casuaity, but now Disney has announced a second.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the popular stunt show “Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show” will be closing on April 2, 2016. The shows will continue with their daily schedule until the closing date. So if this is a show you want to see and you are traveling to Disney World before April 2, I would make time for this attraction. It’s not just the stunt show though; Disney also said that “nearby locations around Streets of America will be closing on April 2, 2016.”
I admit it, I’m bummed that the show is closing. It was a really fun show to see. The kids loved it too, despite the loudness of the show. I know that the new lands will be amazing, so I’m not that upset. In order for things to change, things need to change. I’m sad to see it go, but I am so excited to see what the lands for Toy Story and Star Wars are going to look like.

Despite the closings, I think people will be excited for the changes. Hollywood Studios is about to get a much needed and amazing makeover. Its popularity will certainly grow in about five years or so.
Are you upset about “Lights, Motors, Action!” closing or are you too excited for the new lands to be upset?
