Disney Springs is getting another fun addition. This time it’s a royal addition.
For the month of October the Disney princesses will be meeting with guests at the World of Disney Store. According to Disney Parks Blog, Cinderella wished that she and her friends had somewhere to meet new friends in Disney Springs. So, of course, the Fairy Godmother granted her wish with a ‘royal hall.’ This new meeting area has all the royal touches, like tapestries and images that are inspired by the classic stories.
Have Memory Maker? This is another chance for you to use your Memory Maker, because there will be a Disney PhotoPass photographer there to take pictures of you with the princess.
The princesses will rotate throughout the day (they all have very busy royal schedules) between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. Make sure to check in when you get to the World of Disney Store and after you do that a cast member will let you know what the wait time is and let you know when to return. Right now, the appearances will happen until November 1. Hopefully, this will prove to be a popular experience and it will be extended.
I love that Disney added this option. I can remember when the Disney Store in New York City had the opportunity to meet characters and it was so much fun. It’s nice to the magic of Disney with you, even when you are not in the parks. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this will end up being a permanent offering!
