Today’s Picture of the Day comes from a Royal Guest Room at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside.
I had never stayed at a Disney Moderate Resort until the last Disney visit. I’ve always stayed value or deluxe, one extreme or the other, but never in the middle. That needed to change.
My friend, and one of our Main Street Wishes bloggers, Maureen was going to be in Disney World the same time I was. We decided to book a room at Port Orleans Riverside since neither of us had ever stayed there. While booking, we decided to treat ourselves to a Royal Guest Room.
What is a Royal Guest Room? It’s a super fun room that has a bunch of different Disney princess touches. There are pictures of the princesses and gifts that each princess has left for Princess Tiana. For instance there is the foot-stool dog from Beauty and the Beast and the Magic Carpet from Aladdin, among other things.
The picture for today is of one of the faucets in the vanity area. There are two sinks and they each have one of these Genie lamp faucets. All the touches in the room are fun, but I really loved these faucets. They’re subtle, so you may not notice them at first, but when you do you can see the detail in them. They definitely add to the theme of the room.
There will be a full look at the Royal Guest Room on the website soon, but I wanted to share one of my favorite parts of the room with you.
Have you ever stayed in a Royal Guest Room?
Thanks for reading!
