This week’s ears in the spotlight are part of the Lady and the Tramp 70th Anniversary Collection.
Lady and the Tramp is a classic Disney movie and one of my favorites. During my first trip to Disney World I remember looking at the stuffed Lady and stuffed Tramp in a store at one of the parks (not sure which one, it was a lifetime ago) and finally decided on Lady. It was a hard decision, because at the time that was my favorite movie. Then when we got back to where we were staying during the trip, Tramp was waiting at the door for me. I was seven years old and I still have both of them today. That movie is also still one of my favorites, so I am loving these ears to help celebrate the anniversary.
There are no Mickey ears on this headband. Instead, there are soft floppy ears with silky, curly fur to make it look like Lady’s fur. They are so cute and really do look like her ears. An added bonus is they might give some extra sun coverage to the back of your neck while in the parks, which is helpful given how intense the sun can be.
The bow on this headband is padded pretty well, so it looks a little puffier than some other bows. It’s made of a blue satin material that is the same blue color as Lady’s collar. In the center of the bow is a gem that is designed to look like the tag on Lady’s collar.
For the headband, a light brown velour material was used. The color is similar, though a bit lighter, to the color of Lady’s fur in the movie.
This headband is so adorable! If you are a fan of the movie, or you’re a fan of dogs, this is a good headband to get for your next trip. It’s also a good one to get if you plan on eating at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. A picture with this headband in front of the Lady and the Tramp fountain would be so cute.
