This week’s ears in the spotlight are a good one for any Star Wars fan.
The BB-8 ears are a really cute pair of ears and they’re a good representation of the fun little droid. With the colors, the design, and the rotating dome head, there’s no mistaking who this hat represents.
The ears on this hat are simple black ears, there are no designs printed on either of the ears. However, the plastic the ears are made of feels thicker and sturdier than other ear hats.
The hat is made to look like the rolling body of BB-8. The orange, white, and gray colors on the hat make up the same design found on the droid in the movies. The design continues all around the hat, so it doesn’t matter what side you are looking at, it’s all designed to look like BB-8. Also, the hat feels a bit heftier than other ear hats. It’s not that it feels a lot heavier than other ear hats, but the material it is made from feels thicker than material used for other hats. Instead of a felt hat, like many other ear hats, this one feels as though it’s made from a suede like material.
Topping the hat is BB-8’s dome head. The fun part of this feature is that the head swivels all the way around. It doesn’t make any noise, but the fact that it moves is very cute. Plus, the details on the head are pretty spot on for BB-8.
There is a chin strap on this hat, which is connected on the inside of the hat. Also on the inside is the post that BB-8’s head rotates on.
These ears are adorable and I like that they feel a little sturdier than other ear hats. If you have a Star Wars fan in the family, or know someone who collects BB-8 items, then this would be a good one to add to the collection.

Liz.
I lost you and found you. I had wanted to book a trip thru you.
Anyway, not at this time. My granddaughter graduates this coming year. And she asked if I would take her. Not during the summer or any holiday.
Maybe her brother might come.
Hi Pat! I’m glad you found me again. 🙂 Whenever you’re ready to chat about a trip just say the word. Hopefully in a year or so things will be a little closer to normal there, so maybe next fall for the 50th anniversary?
