This week’s featured photo brings us to Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom.
The Tomorrowland Terrace is a restaurant that offers a special fireworks viewing dessert party. The party is called, appropriately, the Fireworks Dessert Party. As the name implies, desserts are served during the party.
Here are some things you might find at the dessert party:
- Chocolate-dipped Strawberries
- Disney Character-themed Desserts
- Ice Cream
- Create-your-own Cookie
- Seasonal fruits and cheeses
There is also a selection of drinks:
- Sparkling Cider
- Hot Chocolate
- Signature Lemonades
- Coffee
- Tea
The real draw for this party is the view of Cinderella Castle, which gives guests a great view of the fireworks. Plus, Tinker Bell flies right over your head! It’s a nice way to watch the fireworks away from the crowds.
These parties happen on select evenings, so if this is something you want to do I would check the dates it is happening before you plan your Magic Kingdom days. If you don’t check the dates before planning your Magic Kingdom day (booking dining, FastPasses, etc.) and the party isn’t happening on the day you are there then you will have to rearrange some days of your trip. That can be a pain.
The cost of the party is $79 per adult and $47 per child (ages 3-9). The prices include tax, but not admission to Magic Kingdom. You will need to purchase theme park tickets in addition to the party tickets.
Other important info:
- The party counts as dining, so you can make reservations 180 days in advance.
- Arrive at Tommorrowland Terrace Restaurant 60 minutes before the fireworks are scheduled to start.
- Make sure to check the fireworks schedule.
The fireworks dessert parties are becoming a popular option in Disney World. Epcot has a dessert party, as does Hollywood Studios. There is also a dessert cruise to watch Wishes (soon to be Happily Ever After).

Going to the terrace on our trip in 2 weeks! I can not wait to see the view from this advantage point. We are also doing Tiana’s riverboat ice cream social, to watch the parade! We have lots of planned items/tours this trip.
