Friday’s Featured Photo: DVC Member Lounge in Epcot [Bonus Pictures Included]

This week’s featured photo brings us to Epcot.

There are some perks that come along with being Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Members. I am not a Member, but had a chance to see the Member Lounge when I traveled to Disney with friends. 

The Member Lounge at Epcot is located in the Imagination! Pavilion. There is plenty of seating where Members can sit and relax. It’s a nice way to take a break from the busy feeling of the park. Some of the seating also have charging ports to charge your devices. When we were there, some of the ports worked and some did not. This may have been fixed since we were there though. It’s a nice feature to be able to charge your device from where you are sitting.

Since the lounge is located in the Imagination! Pavilion there are plenty of windows to look out of and watch what is going on in Epcot. You can even see the monorail pass by, which is fun for the kids. I really enjoyed the location of this lounge, it was really cool to be sitting there with that ceiling above you.

While we were there Disney had some tablets laid out on some of the tables for Members to use. Cast Members also came around with a snack cart and there were drinks available too.

On Disney’s website it says that the lounge will remain open through 2017. I’m not sure what they are going to do after that, or if they are going to move it to a new location, but if you are a Member I would definitely take advantage of this lounge when you are in Epcot. It was a very nice and relaxing experience.
