Epcot’s World Showcase is full of food and drink choices. With all of the countries, and each one having multiple choices, it can be hard to decide what to have sometimes. For snacks, though, there is one that I must always get at least once during each trip.
Norway has become a very popular pavilion due to the Frozen Ever After ride and the meet ‘n’ greet with Anna and Elsa. While I like those attractions, my favorite thing to do in Norway is to visit the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.
You can find sandwiches, salads, fruit cups, pastries, and drinks at this location. My favorite, by far, is the School Bread. This is definitely a favorite among a lot of people who visit the World Showcase.
The School Bread is a sweet cardamom bun that has vanilla crème custard on the inside, poking through the top, and has glazed and toasted coconuts on top. It’s so good! I have to get it at lease once during each trip.
Another favorite thing to do is to have our pictures taken with the big trolls. The trolls can be found in The Puffin’s Roost, which is a store located near Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. You can spend a lot of time looking around this store, but definitely make sure to take a picture with the huge trolls. The make for fun pictures!
Here are some other things you can find in the Norway pavilion:
Norway is always a stop on our tour around the World Showcase. Gotta have my School Bread!
Have you ever had School Bread or taken your picture with a troll?
Thanks for reading!

Would you happen to have any thoughts on the restaurant Teppan Edo in Japan? We have a group of 12 going with young kids (9 year olds). I haven’t heard many comments on it.
Thank you.
Hi Jamie!
I haven’t experienced Teppan Edo myself, but I hear very good things about it. One person in the Main Street Wishes Facebook group posted pictures from their experience at the restaurant. He said it was both fun and delicious. 🙂
Thank you. I appreciate your response.
No problem! It’s what I am here for 🙂 I hope you guys enjoy your dinner at Teppan Edo!
My kids love it (8 and 10 yrs). The food is very good and the chefs give you a great show! We went with a group of 8.
We found the food to be good and the chefs to be entertaining at Teppan Edo. However you can find pretty much the exact same experience for a better value at any local Hibachi restaurant. We probably won’t return simply because there are so many better restaurants in Epcot.
My first Hibachi experience was at Teppan Edo and I have yet to find a local restaurant that compares! Delicious food and great chef entertainment!
