Something that guests of Disney World have been waiting for has finally happened. It will definitely help with planning and days in the park. I’m talking about making FastPass reservations on your phone and it’s now a possibility.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, starting Sunday (4/10/2016) guests will now be able to reserve additional FastPasses on their phones. Up until now, you would have to go to a kiosk in the park you were visiting, after you used your first three FastPasses, in order to reserve more. Right now, once you use your initial three FastPasses, you can go straight to the My Disney Experience app to reserve more.
This will make reserving additional FastPasses much easier for guests. No more waiting in line or trying to find where the kiosks are, just make sure you have the My Disney Experience app downloaded and you’re all set!
Another positive change that is being made to the FastPass system is that guests will be able to reserve one or two FastPasses, instead of having to use all three. So if you are visiting a park where there are only a couple of things you need FastPasses for then you can use just two. As it is right now you have to use all three and have one of the FastPasses be, basically, a throwaway FastPass. This also means you are taking times away from another guest who might really want to experience that attraction or show.
I’m loving these changes to FastPasses! I think this will make park time a little easier without having to hunt down one of the kiosks.
What about you? Are you happy with the changes?
Thanks for reading!
