Disney has some pretty fun parties during the holidays. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are two extremely popular parties that guests will plan their vacations around.

One of Disney World’s most popular events now has dates for 2016. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a really fun event that runs in September and October. Not only have the dates been announced, but Disney has also extended the number of days the party will be happening.
Halloween is almost here and that means all the fall decorations will be going away and the Christmas ones will slowly start showing up in the parks. Before that happens, let’s take a look at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Disney has added a new show for the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year. It will take place on the Castle Forecourt Stage.
The new show is “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” and incorporates the Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s movie “Hocus Pocus.” During the show, the three sisters decide they want to throw the best and, of course, most evil Halloween party using their magic.
Things and characters to expect during the show:
The show will only happen during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so you will need to buy a ticket for the party if you want to see this show. The party will be held on certain nights in the Magic Kingdom from September 15-November 1.

During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kids (and adults) can dress up and go trick-or-treating. Since it is a separate ticket event, those who do not have party tickets much leave the park by 7. Party goers will be given trick-or-treat bags and a map of locations in the park handing out candy. In addition to the trick-or-treating, there is a special parade (Boo-to-You) and special fireworks (HalloWishes) that will end the party. Certain attractions will also be open during the party. Even though it is only a select amount of attractions that are open, the lines will still be much shorter.
