One of Disney World’s most popular events now has dates for 2016. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a really fun event that runs in September and October. Not only have the dates been announced, but Disney has also extended the number of days the party will be happening.
According to Disney Parks Blog, guests will have 29 nights to choose from for the Halloween party. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has lots of fun things for the whole family, including “Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade,” “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” “Happy HalloWishes,” and of course there will be lots of trick-or-treating.
We experienced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for the first time last year and had such a fun time. For more information about our experience and what happens at the party, check out my Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party post.
Please note that Disney has changed their costume guidelines. Here are the updated guidelines, as posted on Disney Parks Blog:
New this year, we have revised our costuming guidelines for special events in our theme parks. While costumed attire may be worn, guests ages 14 and older are strongly discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body as they may be subject to additional security screening. Additionally, costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Now, here are the 2016 dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:
- September: 2, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29, and 30
- October: 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, and 31
Are you excited for the Halloween party?
