The newest lounge on Disney World property recently opened on Disney’s Boardwalk. It’s called AbracadaBar and the drinks sound as much fun as the theme of the lounge itself.
The lounge is in the space that was previously occupied by Seashore Sweets’. I was sad when I heard they were closing down the ice cream/sweet shop. It was a fun place to visit and the wall of candy was a favorite among my group.
This new lounge looks like fun though. I plan to check this out during my next visit to Disney World and try one of the “Curious Cocktails,” “Worldly Wines,” or “Baffling Beers.” I’m definitely leaning more towards the “Curious Cocktails,” because there is one in particular I would like to try.
It is called Seashore Sweet and it sounds like it is honoring the previous occupants of that space. The description on the menu says, “A cotton candy creation dedicated to two BoardWalk beauty queens.” I love that there is a reminder of the fun store on their menu!
The rest of the drink menu sounds pretty good too. According to Disney, there is no food menu, but you can get some chickpea popcorn to snack on while you are there.
