Today’s Daily Dose of Disney brings us to the Polynesian Resort.
The view in the above picture is from the room my friends and I stayed in a little over a month ago. We received some pixie dust at check-in and were upgraded to a theme park view room, which was amazing! This picture was taken the first night we were there, before the Happily Ever After started. The music/narration was piped in to the beach below, so we were able to hear everything. It was such a nice way to end the first day in Disney.
The Magic Kingdom Resorts around the monorail have some very pretty views of the area. I love that you can get the castle, Space Mountain, and the Contemporary in the same picture. It’s especially pretty at night when they all have their lights on around the lagoon and it just adds to that happy feeling that Disney gives you.
This particular room was in the Hawaii building which is the club level building. Club level includes a lounge where guests can enjoy complimentary food and drinks throughout the day. I’ll write a more detailed article about our experience with club level soon, but I will tell you that we enjoyed our time their and were happy with our experience.
Hope this brought a little bit of Disney magic to your day!
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for posting these. Our 358 day count down finally hit 1 only to have to cancel and re-book due to the pandemic. Countdown now reset to 342 days and counting… hopefully the world is more normal by then. Disney world is the one place we have always used as a distraction to what’s going on in the real world, would be really nice right now to hear “Please Stand Clear of the Doors. Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas.” .
You’re welcome! I’m glad you are enjoying them!
I know, it stinks to have to rebook, but I’m glad you’re able to have another countdown. And I agree, I would love to be on the monorail and hearing that announcement.
Makes me said my husband and I were to stay there for the first time for our 45th anniversary the end of the month we had to cancel
Awww I’m sorry. 🙁 I hope you guys can reschedule the trip when everything reopens. I hope you have a very happy anniversary!!
