Today’s dose of Disney brings us to Disney’s newest resort, the Riviera Resort. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and there are lots of details to see, today’s pictures are one of them.
While walking around we found a covered area with a fountain. Inside we saw two beautiful mosaics that both wrapped around the inside of the arch and over the fountain. One is themed after Tangled and the other is themed after Peter Pan. The colors and details in the mosaics are stunning. It would be very easy to sit there for a while, listening to the fountain and looking at the mosaics.

There’s a lot to see at the Riviera Resort. My friends and I were not staying at the resort, but wanted to see it in person and it was worth the trip. We went up to see Topolino’s Terrace, the rooftop restaurant, and checked out the view from the terrace. I highly recommend visiting the terrace because the view is amazing. You can see a good amount of Disney World from the terrace. There are seats on the terrace, so you can sit and enjoy the view. If you make dinner reservations you can catch one of Disney’s nighttime spectaculars (Epcot and Hollywood Studios) from the roof.
Another fun feature of this hotel is that it’s on the Skyliner route. So when you’re done exploring you can hop on the Skyliner for a fun ride around property. We took the Skyliner from Riviera Resort to Caribbean Beach and changed there to go to Hollywood Studios. It was a fun ride and a great way to see some of Disney’s hotels!
Once the Disney World reopens I highly recommend making a stop at Riviera Resort during your next trip. There are lots of beautiful details to see.
