Yesterday I posted the picture above asking for guesses of where this display is located. There were a lot of great guesses and some people got it right!
The most popular guess, by far, was Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom. I can see why that was the most popular guess, and people who guessed that were in the right area, movie wise.
The display is actually located in the queue line for the new Alien Swirling Saucers attraction in Hollywood Studios. It’s something that is easy to miss though, since it’s near the beginning of the queue line. Most of the queue line is located in an open air building and this display can be seen as you first enter the building. If the line is not that long, which it usually isn’t, then chances are guests will walk past this display without giving it much notice, not that it does anything (at least not that I noticed), but it adds to the theme of the ride.
Alien Swirling Saucers is one of two new rides that opened with the opening of Toy Story Land. Aliens in their saucers pull guests seated in rocket ships around the moving tracks. Once the ride gets going, the vehicles are swung from side to side as you are taken in circles around the ride area trying to escape the claw. Depending on how much you lean into the turns, you might be able to get the rides to whip a little more, but for the most part this is a pretty mild ride.
Thanks to everyone who commented with their guesses! I’m glad people are having fun with this, I know I am!
Are you excited to check out Alien Swirling Saucers during your next Disney World vacation?
Thanks for reading!

That was a tricky one! The ride is new and most people have not seen it yet. Nice move to keep everyone guessing.
Yeah, I thought this one would be tougher since it’s new. Next week I’ll go back to something that’s been in the park for longer. 🙂
Haven’t been there yet but can’t wait to see it!!!
