Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. Six people new exactly where to find the camel.
Congratulations to Doug, Melanie, Kevin, Mike, Abbie, and Mary, who all knew the camel can be found by The Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. Abbie also kindly warned everyone about the fact that the camel does “spit” water at guests, so be aware of that when you are passing this attraction.
This ride is very similar to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride at Magic Kingdom in Story Book Circus. The only real difference is that the ride vehicle is in the shape of a flying carpet. Each of the flying carpets fits 4 passengers and those in the front row can move a lever up and down, which in turn moves the carpet up and down. Those in the back row also have some control with the option to press the magic scarab, which will tip the carpet forward or backward.
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are situated in the middle of different shops and attractions in Adventureland, so there’s no missing it. Surrounding the ride are the following:
Thanks to everyone who played along and congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the camel! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon. Have you been on the Magic Carpets of Aladdin?
Thanks for reading!
