Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but two people knew where to find the fireplace.
Congratulations to Caroline and Disney Dennis, who both knew that the fireplace is located at Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom. Specifically, the tavern is located in Fantasyland, just over the bridge from Be Our Guest Restaurant. It’s a quick service dining location that serves snacks and drinks and is themed like the tavern in Beauty and the Beast. From the antlers on the wall to Gaston’s giant chair, it feels like you have stepped into the movie.
Two well known items are served at this location, the cinnamon roll and LeFou’s Brew. The cinnamon roll is huge and served warm ($6.99). LeFou’s Brew is made with frozen apple juice, a bit of toasted marshmallow flavor, and is topped with a passion fruit-mango foam. It is available to order as just the drink ($6.99) or with a souvenir stein ($14.29).
