Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses, but seven people knew where to find the silhouette.
Congratulations to Gina, Diane, Sharon, Kathleen, Caroline, Disney Dennis, and John, who all knew the silhouette can be found on Spaceship Earth at EPCOT. John went a little further, pointing out that it’s located in the scene with the switchboard operators. The ride is located inside the icon of the park, so you cannot miss it. Spaceship Earth is the first ride you will see when you enter the front of the park. Usually the lines are not long, but if it’s a busier time of year I would recommend riding it right after the park opens, because when the lines get long there isn’t a ton of shade for guests in line.
Spaceship Earth is a nice slow moving ride that takes guests on a trip through the history of communication. This is a relaxing ride and it’s especially great for escaping the heat for a bit, since it runs about 16 minutes. There are some interactive aspects to it too. Near the end of the ride you will answer some questions on a touch screen in your ride vehicle and that comes in handy when you get off the ride. The exit will lead you to an area where you can see the results from your answers on a big screen and you will even be able to email them to yourself. It’s a pretty fun interactive area!
Congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the silhouette and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Thanks for reading!
