Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but two people knew where to find the hutch.
Congratulations to Kathleen and Megan who both knew the hutch can be found at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort. Specifically, this hutch is located by the elevator near the exit to the boardwalk. Walking in through the doors, the hutch is located to the right. It’s easy to miss, because guests are usually headed out to the boardwalk or taking the elevator up to go to the lobby or their room.
The BoardWalk Inn is part of Disney’s Deluxe Resort category. Also at this property are the BoardWalk Villas, which are part of Disney’s Vacation Club. The location of this resort is great because it is within walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and it has a fair amount of shopping and dining options, plus activities in the evening. In addition to being able to walk to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, guests can also take a boat or the Skyliner.
In the evening there are some performers that will set up and they always look for guests to help with the act. Plus, there are carnival games guests can play (for a fee) and there is some nightlife on the boardwalk with Jelly Rolls (dueling piano bar) and the Atlantic Dance Hall (themed after a 1940s-style nightclub). This is one of my favorite areas to stay, because there’s always something to do, even if it’s just taking a late night stroll around the Crescent Lake.
