Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some really good guesses, but two people new exactly where to find the suitcase.
Congratulations to Caroline and Kathy, who both new the suitcase can be found at the train station in Magic Kingdom. Specifically, the suitcase is located at the Main Street train station on the bottom level. There are actually quite a few things to see in this area, a lot of them train related, of course. There are also portraits of the Disney family on the walls with some information about the trains named after them accompanying the pictures. It’s easy to miss, because it’s right at the front of the park, so people are usually rushing to get into the park or rushing to get out of the park when they pass by this area.
The Main Street station is one three train stations located around Magic Kingdom. The other two stations are located in Frontierland and Fantasyland, so they are spread out a bit. It was great to see the steam trains return to Magic Kingdom after being closed for years, I forgot how much fun it was to ride the train all around the park. Plus, if you are looking for an attraction that will get you off your feet for a while then this is your best bet. To do the full loop around the park is about 20 minutes, but guests can stay on as long as they like until the trains stop running. As of right now, the trains do not run until park closing, they usually stop a few hours before.
While on the train, guests are treated to special views of attractions not seen from other areas in the park. In addition, there are scenes specifically laid out for the train. These scenes go along with the narration on the train, which adds a fun element to the ride. The narration includes a fun part as you travel past the new attraction, Tron. So make sure you stay on the train at least once as it goes past Tron.
Congratulations to those that knew where the suitcase was located and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you been on the train since it reopened in Magic Kingdom?
Thanks for reading!
