Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always there were some great guesses, but five people knew exactly where to find the “e.”
Congratulations to Steve, Angela, Judy, Al, and Joanna who all knew that the “e” is located on the sign at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. This fun table service restaurant is located in the Commissary Lane area of the park. It’s located in between ABC Commissary and Baseline Tap House, not far from Star Tours. The idea of this restaurant is that you are at a 50s-style drive-in theater. So the tables are made to look like 50s-style cars, which is one of the fun parts about this restaurant. Another fun feature is that while eating, guests will be treated to some 50s-style movie clips on the big movie screen. To add to the ambiance, the ceiling of the restaurant looks like a starry night sky. One more thing, outside the restaurant is one of the dining cars by the entrance. This gives guests a picture opportunity and a glimpse of what to expect inside. It’s such a fun themed restaurant!
Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant’s menu has a variety of items for diners to choose from during their visit. On the menu is a 50th anniversary item, the EARidescent Sip-a-bration, which is served in a souvenir 50th Celebration Souvenir Cup with a surprise character. Other items on the menu include, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta, desserts, special kids’ meals, non-alcoholic drinks, wines, sangria, mixed drinks, beer, and hard cider.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to everyone who knew where the “e” is located! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Have you been to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater? This is one of those restaurants that’s fun to do at least once. If you like well themed dining options, then make sure to check this one out during your next trip!
Thanks for reading!
