Last week I shared the picture above and asked for guesses as to where it is located. We had some really good guesses, but six of you were able to pinpoint where these doors are located.
Congratulations to Jona, Rylie, Larry & Melinda, Disney Dennis, and Lee who all knew the doors are located outside PizzeRizzo’s at Hollywood Studios. You can see the doors right outside the restaurant and it fits in with the theming of the area very well. Above the doors is a net holding some crates of tomatoes and the name of the company on the crates is Heckler. Next to the doors is the PizzeRizzo Restaurant which is run by the wisecracking Muppet Rizzo the Rat. He wanted to open a pizza joint like you would find in New York and that theme is shown both inside and out.
The outside of the building looks like a pizza place you could find in any city, but once you step inside you will see some nods to New York. On the side of the building, near the doors in the picture, Rizzo painted “You got the dough? We got the cheese!” adding to the theme of the restaurant. Rizzo makes an appearance on the neon sign above the restaurant, which is hard to miss. You can see the full menu in last week’s Saturday Snackshot.
PizzeRizzo is located across from Muppet*Vision 3D, which is a fun 3D show starring all our favorite Muppets. It’s a fun show to check out, plus it has air conditioning, so it’s a nice break from the heat.
