Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where the picture is located. There were some great guesses, but three of you were able to correctly identify the location of this stove.
Congratulations to Doug, Jona, and Paula! They all knew the stove is located at the new quick service restaurant in the American Adventure at Epcot’s World Showcase.
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse is a BBQ themed restaurant that celebrates “the regions of American backyard barbecue and craft beers.” You can see the theme throughout the restaurant. There are so many decorations to look at and it begins when you first walk up the stairs towards the restaurant with the big smoker outside near the outdoor bar. There’s even a Muppet’s touch to the restaurant, so keep a lookout for Sam Eagle. Even if you are not a fan of BBQ, it’s still fun to stop by to see the decor.
The menu has a variety of items, but I tried the brisket sandwich during my visit and I was not disappointed. There was a generous amount of meat stacked in between two pieces of garlic toast, the mac & cheese had a nice thick and creamy sauce, and the banana pudding I had for dessert was a generous size too. Everything I tried was delicious and I’ll definitely be stopping by again. Read my full review here.
The brisket sandwich, with a choice of side, costs $12.99 and the banana pudding is $4.99. The prices are decent for Disney World, considering the amount of food you get. The most expensive item on the menu is the Memphis Dry-rub Pork Ribs at $15.99. So none of the items are over the top expensive for what you are getting. You can see the full menu here.
Congratulations to those that knew where to find the stove and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you ever been to the Regal Eagle Smokehouse?
Thanks for reading!
