Darcy Clark, Marketing Manager, Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort, continues the BOATHOUSE theme today by telling us about some of the aquatic recreation and entertainment offered by the new restaurant.
Here are some of the fun new activities found at the BOATHOUSE:
- Amphicar Rides – These are boats that look like cars and can float in the water and be driven on land. So cool! It costs $125. That includes your own Car Captain and they fit up to three guests. Tours are available from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. and will be available soon.
- Italian Water Taxi Cruise – The guided tour comes with live music, chocolate- covered strawberries, and a champagne toast. The tours will take place hourly from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. for individuals and groups up to 20. It will cost $75 per person or $50 per child under the age of 13. They will also offer private tours for two from $150 per couple. These tours will be available soon.
- “Floating Art” – Rare (multi-million dollar) boats in the marina. They are from museums, private collectors, and boat shows from around the work.
- Entertainment – Flag ceremonies and lively music will be performed aboard Lady Rose. In the restaurant there will be live entertainment in various musical styles.
So the next time you are in Downtown Disney stop by the BOATHOUSE to see (and taste) all they have to offer!
