That’s right, in just over a month EPCOT’s Test Track will reopen to the public. This has always been a popular attraction, so it’s sure to be very busy when it reopens.
The reimagined ride will open with all new music and new scenes that will highlight the technology making our cars smarter. General Motors will once again sponsor Test Track, like they did when the ride first opened. When Test Track first opened in 1999 the ride was designed as a though you were riding through the GM test facility. This time around, guests will be ride through scenes like the one where it shows how vehicles use cameras and sensors to be aware of what is around the car. It’s actually pretty interesting and two Imagineers explain it in the video below.
