Not too long ago Disney decided to change the Wine & Dine Half Marathon races to virtual races, due to current conditions. While it’s sad for all those that were planning to run in Disney World this year, it’s giving more people an opportunity to sign up for the races.
The changes and modifications keep coming. One of runDisney’s races will not be an in-person event this year.
The runDisney races have become very popular over the years. Many sell out the same day that registration opens, but that’s not surprising considering that they are Disney races.
Attention runners! The registration for the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is now open!
Runners get ready! Registration for the 10th annual Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend opens tomorrow, March 19.
Disney announced they are delaying the registration for some of the upcoming races. Two big race weekends are included in the delay.
Hey Disney Fans!
Last year Disney started a summer virtual running series and I am so excited to see that they are doing it again this year. Mostly because I missed the sign up last year and I really wanted to try it. This summer series consists of three 5k’s and runs between June 1-Aug 31.
It might seem like a long time off, but it’s almost time to register for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon. So get ready to reserve your spot, but make sure you are quick!
With Disney’s Marathon Weekend approaching, safety has been a topic of conversation. So, in an effort to protect guests and cast members, Disney has made some changes to their runDisney costume policy.
The Military surprise videos always make me bawl and these are no different.
Disney Parks Blog has posted some Military surprise videos in honor of the Fourth of July. Of course, these are all surprises that happened at Disney World.
One video has talking Mickey, another takes place with the Voices of Liberty, and another happens during a runDisney event. However this one is my favorite. I bawled like a baby at this one!
Check out the Disney Parks Blog post for the other videos.
