There have been lots of announcements coming from Disney World in the last couple of days. The newest one has to do with a complimentary option that has been available to those booking Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages.
A few months back Disney introduced an option to buy MagicBands with designs at a reduced cost when you book a vacation package. However, Disney underestimated how popular this option would be and the stock has run out multiple times since this has been introduced.
Disney is always coming up with new MagicBand designs and every once in a while they unveil new MagicBand colors. Recently, Disney unveiled five new MagicBand colors and people are pretty excited.
This new MagicBand is kind of like the Rose Gold Ears of MagicBands. The second this design was released people wanted it.
Disney announced a couple of months ago that they would be rolling out the next generation of MagicBands. Some people have reported getting them in the mail for their upcoming trip, so it seems that Disney is starting to fully incorporate the new bands.
Disney World has, what they call, MagicBand on Demand stations in certain areas around the property. These stations allow you to put designs on your MagicBand and have it printed in minutes. Now guests have even more designs to choose from when using these stations.
Something that guests of Disney World have been waiting for has finally happened. It will definitely help with planning and days in the park. I’m talking about making FastPass reservations on your phone and it’s now a possibility.
Multiple people have been posting on Facebook that purple MagicBands are now an option when you are booking your Disney World vacation. In order to see the MagicBand color options you have to have a reservation, tickets, or be a passholder. So everyone who is posting can see the bands because they have already made their reservations, they have tickets, or they are an annual passholder.
Can you guess what the new color is? It’s a color that has been requested over and over by guests. That’s right; Disney is finally making purple MagicBands available! So there will be a lot of excited people, myself included.
