This is the story that had the Disney forums and groups buzzing yesterday. It was posted by Disney Parks Blog, but was quickly taken down. Well, it’s official!
According to Disney Parks Blog, you can now make MagicBands on demand in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. Appropriately named, the MagicBand on Demand station can be found inside the Tomorrowland Power & Light Co. which you can find near Space Mountain. It is being likened to the D-Tech on Demand boutique at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs Marketplace.
The Tomorrowland location will allow you to choose to customize either a MagicBand or a D-Tech cell phone case. If you choose to customize a MagicBand you will be able to choose from eight different colors and one of those colors is the long awaited purple MagicBand. Guests will also be able to choose from 40 different graphics and will have the option to personalize the MagicBands with their name on the outside.

Guests will be able to print their specially designed MagicBands right there and can link them to their My Disney Experience account.
The cost for a custom MagicBand is $21.95 and a personalized MagicBand is $29.95
No word on whether this option will become available when initially booking your trip. We can hope though!
