My most recent trip to Disney World included my first experience at a moderate resort. I’m very happy with the one we chose and part of the reason is because of Yehaa Bob Jackson.

Animal Kingdom News: Rivers of Light Start Date Announced
It would appear that we finally have an opening date for Rivers of Light. This is the nighttime show in Animal Kingdom that was supposed to start over a year ago, but has been delayed for multiple reasons.

This was another classic experience at Disney World that I was happy to finally be experiencing. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a Disney World staple that has been playing in Disney World for over 40 years.

Epcot’s Lineup for Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Released
We are already in April and before we know it summer will be here. During the summer months Epcot has a fun concert series called “Sounds Like Summer.” The lineup for the concert series has been released.
Canadian Pavilion Gets New Entertainment at Epcot
A new group has started entertaining at the Canada Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot. Their name is TradNation and they will be performing on The Mill Stage.
The Great Irish Hooley is Back at Raglan Road for Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day weekend at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is about to get a little more festive.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the “Great Irish Hooley” is returning to the popular Irish restaurant for the holiday weekend. The celebration signifies that we are half-way to St. Patrick’s Day.

This celebration has been going on for the last three years and has lots of fun activities to go along with it. Here is what you can expect:
- Top Irish Bands
- Step-dancing
- Craft Beers
- Stellar Irish Cuisine
- Celtic Face-painting
Expect a lot of great music that weekend, as the restaurant has lined up some talented bands:
- Screaming Orphans – A quartet of Irish sisters playing original pop/rock
- The Raglan Roots Coalition – The new Raglan Road house band
- JigJam
- The West Coast Trio
- The Blaggards
- Cooney & Ryan
- The Blarney Stones- With Hannah Carr, a former Raglan Road Irish Dancer
There will be four limited-edition craft beers brewed especially for this occasion:
- A Raglan Road Saison
- Raglan Road Fruit Salad Weiss Beer
- McGargles Jims CO2 Stout
- McGargles Francis Tropical American IPA
This celebratory weekend will also be commemorating the restaurant’s 10-year anniversary that weekend.
The event will take place from September 4 – September 7, 2015.

Sounds Like Summer Concert Series Starting Soon at Epcot
Sounds Like Summer Concert Series dates and artists have been released! This event takes place in Epcot at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase from June 7 to July 25.
Here is the lineup for Sounds Like Summer Concert Series:
- June 7-13: DSB – A Tribute to Journey
- June 14-20: 2U – A Tribute to U2
- June 21-26: Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot – A Tribute Billy Joel Show
- June 27 – July 4: Don’t Look Back – A Tribute to Boston
- July 5-11: Fire & Ice – A Tribute to Pat Benatar
- July 12-18: Stayin’ Alive – A Tribute to the Bee Gees
- July 19-25: Hotel California – A Salute to the Eagles
This concert series is included with Epcot park admission. Shows happen daily at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 p.m.
Dockside Margaritas Will Open Soon in Downtown Disney
When it opens later this month, Dockside Margaritas will be a fun and laid-back place to grab a drink in Downtown Disney. You will be able to find handcrafted margaritas and even some Florida brews.
From 2:30-10:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 12:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday you’ll be able to catch live performers by the water.
From Disney Parks Blog, Rachel Brent, the Food & Beverage Marketing Communications Coordinator, has a glimpse of what you will find on the menu:
- Patrón Añejo Margarita – Patrón Barrel Select Añejo Tequila, Grand Marnier, Sweet-and-Sour and fresh Lime Juice
- Habanero Lime Margarita – Patrón Silver Tequila, Habanero Lime, fresh Lime Juice and Florida Sugar Cane Simple Syrup
- Sunset Margarita – Casamigos Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, fresh Lime Juice, Sweet-and-Sour and Orange Juice
- Orange Grove Rum Runner – Siesta Key Spiced Rum, Blackberry Brandy, Crème de Banana, and Florida Citrus Juices with a float of Gosling’s 151 Rum
- Sugar Cane Mojito – Siesta Key Silver Rum, Florida Sugar Cane Simple Syrup, fresh Lime Juice and Mint
- Strawberry Margarita – Herradura Reposado Tequila and fresh Lime Juice blended with Strawberry Purée
- Florida Citrus Freeze – Florida Cane ‘Orlando Orange’ Vodka and Peach Schnapps blended with Orange Purée
Also on the menu are some craft beers that have been brewed in Florida. Here are some of the Florida breweries that will have beer on the menu:
- Orange Blossom Plisner
- Bold City Duke’s Brown Ale
- Cigar City Jai Alai IPA
Dockside Margaritas has an opening date of April 23. So you will be able to enjoy a Dockside Margarita very soon!
