This week’s Snackshot takes us to Hollywood Studios to a pizza joint run by one of our favorite wisecracking Muppets.
PizzeRizzo is located in Hollywood Studios across from Muppet*Vision 3D. You can’t miss Rizzo’s restaurant, just look for the giant neon sign above the building. It really adds to the theme and is even more fun to see at night.
This quick service restaurant is two stories with seating both inside and outside on both levels, so you are sure to find a seat. The idea behind this restaurant is that Rizzo decided to open a neighborhood pizza place. In one of the descriptions on the website it says, “Craving a hot piece of ‘New Yorkish’ pizza? Don’t fuggedaboutit! Rizzo the Rat has got you covered.” Rizzo is intent on making his restaurant a success and you will notice many fliers for PizzeRizzo on doors in the area. He has also offered some upstairs space as event space, which he has turned into a ballroom. Guests can eat in this room as well and enjoy different decor from the other rooms.
Guests can grab a quick meal and choose from a variety of items on the menu. In addition to the pepperoni pizza in the picture there are a few other pizza choices, as well as a salad choice and a sub choice for the main entree.

The menu for PizzeRizzo is the same for both lunch and dinner. Seasonal items are available at different times of the year, as well. For instance, right now there are Halloween items on the menu: Frozen Apple Cider (comes with a souvenir Poison Apple glow cube), Tire Pumpkin Straw, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and a Pumpkin Cheesecake Cannoli.
