This week’s snackshot brings us to Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Beaches & Cream Soda shop is themed after an old fashioned 1950s ice cream shop. They don’t just serve ice cream though, guests can also get burgers, sandwiches, soups, hot dogs, and more. If you are up for the challenge you can get the Kitchen Sink, but you might want to make sure you have some help.
The menu includes a section for kids and with that a couple of desserts. The Mickey Mouse Sundae is a popular choice for kids to order. It comes with a scoop of ice cream, Oreos, and a cherry. It’s a really cute sundae and the kids love it. Plus, it’s just the right size.
As for the restaurant, it’s pretty cute. It has booth seating, tables and chairs, and counter seating. The booths have beach balls on the seats, to go along with the theme. The restaurant itself is very bright and colorful, making it a fun place to eat. Another feature that adds to the nostalgic feature is the jukebox that plays oldies music. The restaurant is small, so reservations can be hard to come by, but there is a takeout window.
So the next time you are in the Epcot Resort area, stop by Disney’s Beach Club Resort and check out Beaches & Cream. It’s a fun experience to add to your Disney World vacation.
