This week’s Snackshot is a delicious combination of fruit and chocolate.
The first time I tried this treat I was hooked. The one in the picture was purchased at Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom, however that shop is listed as temporarily closed right now. No worries though, you can find this refreshing treat at other locations on property, such as Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs.
The pineapple is sweet and juicy, and milk chocolate covers the whole pineapple spear. When you bite into the spear the chocolate starts to melt and mixes nicely with the pineapple. So you get the initial bite of hard chocolate, but then everything mixes together into a delicious chocolate pineapple combination. It was so good and, if I’m being honest, my mouth is watering slightly as I am writing.
One piece of advice I would give about the pineapple spear is to make sure you have plenty of napkins with you, especially if you are going to eat it in the park. The chocolate covered fruit can be messy in the Florida heat, so the napkins help.
I held on the one in the picture and waited until I got back to the room, because it was July and I wouldn’t have been able to finish it before making a complete mess with the melting chocolate. When I got back to the room I put it in the fridge for a bit and the chocolate still had a snap to it when I took it out. This has become one of those “must have” treats for me when I visit Disney World. It’s delicious!
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot! Have you tried any of the chocolate covered fruit at Disney World?
Thanks for reading!

Hi Cristy! I hope they come back soon too! They were still being sold the last time I was there, but that was before the closure. It’s such a delicious and refreshing treat. Keeping my fingers crossed they’re back in the near future, and I’m definitely going to try the caramel drizzled ones too, that sounds delicious! Thanks for the tip. 🙂
