This week’s Snackshot takes us to the France Pavilion in Epcot.
I remember trying the beef bourguignon at the France booth at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It was delicious! So I was looking forward to trying the full meal version at Chefs de France. When I finally got to order it as a meal I was not disappointed.
The beef fell apart, it was so tender that there was no need for a knife. In addition to it being so tender it was absolutely delicious. The beef was braised in Cabernet and was served with baby onions, carrots, and linguine. The linguine was also very good and lightly buttered. This is a meal I will definitely order again the next time I visit the restaurant.
Not only was the food good, but the cast member who took my order had an interesting story about different recipes for beef bourguignon. She told me that different areas in France add different things in the bourguignon. For instance, she said her grandmother put an orange and an anchovy in hers. She was fun to talk to and conversations like that really added to the enjoyable experience at the restaurant. This is why it’s always nice to chat with the cast members; they’re always very helpful, a lot of times they have interesting stories, and it’s just polite since they spend their days making magic for everyone.
Everything else at this restaurant was delicious too. The bread, the salad, and the dessert are all things I look forward to enjoying during my next visit, as well.
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot! Have you ever been to Chefs de France?
Thanks for reading!

My family all loved this restaurant! We also had a great conversation with our waitress. Can’t wait until the cast members from other countries can come back.
Me too, Jodi! The cast members add so much magic to Disney World visits. Glad you guys had such a great experience too. 🙂
