Tiffins is the new signature dining restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It has been open for a little while now and the response has been pretty good.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, with menus that are similar. Now they have added an additional lunch menu which will be offered from 11:30 to 3:30 each day. The new menu will give guests the chance to try different plates, but in a smaller size.
The new menu is called Taste of Tiffins and you have a choice of two plates for $28 per person. If you are thinking that is a lot for two smaller plates (appetizer size), remember that this is a signature dining restaurant, so things will be a little more expensive than other restaurants that are not considered signature dining.
Here are the Taste of Tiffins menu choices:
- Flash-fried Icy Blue Mussels
- 72-Hour Beef Short Rib
- Chermoula-rubbed Chicken
- Sustainable Seasonal Fish Crudo
- Marinated Grilled Octopus
- Crispy Yellowtail Snapper
- Market Vegetable Curry
- Black-eyed Pea Fritters
- Salad of Roasted Baby Beets
- Masa and Pulled Pork Tamale
So you have 10 choices and you get to pick two of those 10, not too bad. For a little more information about some of the dishes you can visit Disney Parks Blog.
I have been excited to try this new dining experience, and I might take advantage of this menu option when I visit. We’ll have to wait and see how the new menu is received by guests to get a better idea if it is going to stick around or if this will be short lived.
Have you tried Tiffins yet? If not, are you looking forward to trying it for the first time?
As always, thanks for reading!
