Just a quick reminder that Disney will be streaming the popular nighttime show in Animal Kingdom live tonight. I’m very excited for it and will definitely be watching!
“Rivers of Light” is a breathtaking show. I was able to see it the last time I was in Disney and it has become a favorite. The narration during the show is told by the storytellers through dance, music, song, and shadow puppetry. Between the floats, the projections on the water, and the music, it is a beautiful sight.
The live stream will start at 8:40 pm (EST) tonight and Disney Parks Blog will add a new blog at the top of the page with the live video. You can also follow along on social media with the hashtag #DisneyParksLIVE.
Regardless of whether or not you watch the live stream tonight, I highly recommend seeing this show the next time you are in Animal Kingdom at night. It has become a must-do attraction for me and for a lot of other people too. The show takes place on the Discovery River and there are a couple of different seating areas, one is for those with FastPasses (by Expedition Everest) and the other is for those in the standby line and those that purchased the dining package (by Finding Nemo The Musical).
The lines can be long to get into the show, but it is definitely worth it. There aren’t many things I will wait in long lines for in Disney World anymore (only because I’ve been going since I was a kid), but I would wait in line to see this show.
Will you be watching tonight?
Thanks for reading!
