Today’s Picture of the Day takes us to Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom.
During this last trip I went was traveling with other adults and no kids, so it was definitely a different kind of trip. Not better or worse, just different. I was able to look around a little more, because I wasn’t as worried about making FastPass reservations or dining reservations. One of the things I noticed in Magic Kingdom made me smile.
I don’t know if it was done intentionally, or if it just happened to end up looking like a smiling face, but one of the rocks across from the Tomorrowland Terrace looks like it is smiling. I just happened to notice it as I was taking a break and just enjoying the scenery. So, of course I snapped a picture.
Have you seen this rock? Or is it just me that is seeing this smiling face? It’s pretty cute and I almost feel like we should give the rock a name. Rocky is too obvious though. If you have a suggestion feel free to post in the comments below.
It would be very easy to miss this happy rock. The most recent times I have been to Disney I have had the kids with me and there isn’t always time to just relax and take in your surroundings. So for all I know this rock could have been here for years.
Next time you are walking from Tomorrowland towards Main Street U.S.A., take a break across from Tomorrowland Terrace and check out the rocks by the water. See if you can spot the smiling rock.
Have you seen this rock in Tomorrowland?
Thanks for reading!

If you look closely at the cluster of rocks, they all seem to have some sort of facial feature about them. As for a name…Graystone.
You’re right, they do 🙂 Love the name choice!
