Disney Springs has lots of new experiences and one more has just been announced. This new establishment will bring a familiar face back to Disney World.
According to Disney Parks Blog, Wine Bar George will open in fall 2017 and it will be run by Master Sommelier George Miliotes. If the name sounds familiar it’s because he was part of the team that opened California Grill, at the Contemporary Resort, in 1995.
This wine bar will seat 210 people and will feature oak wood, warm lighting, and a comfortable atmosphere, giving guests the feeling that they are dining at the winemaker’s own estate.
Guests can expect to see small plates on the menu and they will have more than 100 selections of both bottled wine and wine by the glass. Miliotes is planning to have special events and visits from renowned winemakers too.
Wine Bar George sounds like it will be a nice addition to Disney Springs. This is also going to be a nice place for adults to go for date nights while in Disney World. I know it’s on my list!
