This week’s ears in the spotlight are the sixth in The Main Attraction collection.
These represent one of Disney’s popular rides in Magic Kingdom, Peter Pan’s Flight. One look at this pair and it’s pretty easy to see which attraction they represent. The ride is located in Fantasyland and usually has a pretty long line. Guests board a flying ship and fly over scenes in London before visiting Neverland. It’s a really cute ride and guests of all ages love it.
The ears on this pair are decorated on the front with clouds and stars. Clouds with a trail of pixie dust cover the bottom of the ears and the top of the ears have a navy background with little stars. One of the ears has the “second star to the right” embroidered on it. On the back of the right ear the 50th anniversary logo is embroidered.
Instead of a bow, there is a twill hat in between the ears. The hat is blue with a blue satin ribbon around the middle. Also on the ribbon is a pixie dust design. A felt pirate ship and felt red feather decorate the hat as well.
The headband is covered with the same navy colored material. One side of the headband has the Peter Pan’s Flight logo printed on it and the other side has a trail of pixie dust halfway up the headband.
These are adorable and a must have pair if you have been collecting the other Main Attraction ears. If you know someone who likes Mickey Ears and this is one of their favorite rides, these would be a nice pair to pick up as a gift.
