This week’s ears in the spotlight are the coveted Rose Gold Minnie Bow Ears.
I wasn’t planning to buy these, because I assumed I would not be able to find them. However, while shopping in Hollywood Studios we found them hanging on a wall display. There were a bunch, so it must have been a recent shipment. There was already a small crowd gathering in front of the display, so I waited my turn and picked out a couple pairs.
The ears are very pretty. They are a beautiful rose gold color and it really shows the color when they sparkle in the sun. The ears and the headband are covered in sequins, so they are very sparkly. The ears are padded underneath the sequins, so while they are not soft to the touch (because of the sequins) they are not hard either. The headband has a soft velvety material on the inside (the same rose gold color) and this helps with the comfort level while wearing the ears.
The bow is also a rose gold color. The material it is made from is very soft and shiny. The bow has an almost iridescent color to it, but the shiny material is only on the outside. The inside of the bow is the same color as the inside of the headband and it’s soft too.
This headband is very popular right now. After we bought our rose gold ears, people were asking us where we got them from. You never know where they are going to show up next, but it will be easier once the hype dies down.
I did buy two of the rose gold ears, so I will be announcing a giveaway soon. The giveaway will be done solely in the Main Street Wishes Facebook group, so you will have to be a member of that group to have a chance at the ears. It will be a simple giveaway, where I pin a picture of the ears to the top of the group discussion and you just have to like the picture to enter the giveaway. Nice and easy. The ears cost $24.99 and I found them in one of the stores in Hollywood Studios. I believe the store was Mickey’s of Hollywood, but I’m sure they are gone by now. If you are headed down to Disney World and are hoping to get a pair of these, I would check each store you go in. You never know were these ears may pop up!
