There is a lot going on in Hollywood Studios these days, but Disney is doing its best to keep people coming to the park. They’ve had some new additions recently that guests and there’s another exciting addition coming to the meet ‘n’ greets.
Disney has announced that this spring guests will be able to meet and take pictures with BB-8. The fan favorite little droid will be appearing at Star Wars Launch Bay. This addition means guest will be able to meet three popular Disney characters in that location, because Kylo Ren and Chewbacca already meet guests there daily. Star Wars Launch Bay has a lot for guests to do, in addition to meeting the characters. So it’s definitely a good place to stop during your day at Hollywood Studios.
Disney is definitely trying to keep the interest level up in the park, given all the construction going on there. Star Wars in particular is getting a big presence in the park. It’s building the anticipation for the opening of Star Wars Land in 2019.

So while there is a lot of construction going on in Hollywood Studios, Disney is certainly finding ways to keep people entertained. The addition of BB-8 this spring is sure to be a popular experience, so keep that in mind when planning your day at Hollywood Studios.
