Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has a couple of popular places to build classic Star Wars memorabilia. One of those places lets guests build their own lightsabers, and it will soon be open again.
Savi’s Workshop is a full experience that immerses guests into the world of Star Wars. Guests don’t just build a lightsaber, they are brought into a story, which adds quite a bit to the experience. This immersive experience will welcome guests back on September 20.
When guests arrive at Savi’s they are guided inside by the Gatherers’, who will also help them construct their lightsabers. Guests pick their own hilt and kyber cyrstal, which each represent something different. There are different themes guests can use to build their lightsabers. Those themes are: Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, and Protection and Defense.
There will be some differences when the shop reopens. For instance, capacity will be limited to allow for physical distancing between guests. This was a popular experience to book before, so now that capacity is limited it is highly recommended to make reservations ahead of time. Reservations open on September 16 and the cost to build a lightsaber is $199.99.
It’s nice to see more experiences returning to Disney World. Are you excited to be able to build a lightsaber again?
Thanks for reading!

So they aren’t doing fantastic or dessert parties ! You’re article dated 9/12/20 makes it sound like they are. I just don’t want disappointed fans
Hi Stephanie! The Saturday Snackshot for this past week did discuss what is available in the dessert snack box that you get at the Fantasmic! Dessert and VIP Viewing Experience, but I mention in the article that these experiences are on hold right now, because the nighttime spectaculars and shows are not happening at the moment. Sorry for the confusion!
