This week’s featured photo takes us to the Caribbean Beach Resort.
During my most recent stay in Disney World I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time. There is a lot of construction going on at the Resort right now, but there is still plenty to see and do. One night was spent wondering around and checking out the grounds.
While walking around we passed the pool bar, which is in a different location during the construction. The beach seating in the featured photo was across from where the pool bar is and it looked so inviting. Imagine relaxing by the water with a nice drink after a long day in the parks. Sounds good, right?
The area by the pool bar also has chairs and tables right next to the bar and there are some games on the sidewalk for guests to play. Even though there is a bunch of construction going on (there’s seriously a lot), Disney has done a good job making sure these amenities are still available for guests.
I don’t know if this seating is going to stay once the construction is done, but I hope it does. It’s a great place to end a fun day at Disney!
Thanks for reading!

I’m taking my grand daughter to Disney for her 8th birthday and this is where we are staying. Any tips on what we can do on a down day at this resort would be great as this is our first trip. I realize there is reconstruction being done at this resort, so any information is appreciated.
Hi Gail!
There is quite a bit of construction, but it’s still a fun resort, so don’t worry about that. 🙂 The pool area is really nice and it’s a fun themed pool. One of the Cast Members told me it’s one of the most photographed pools on property and I can understand why. Just walking around the resort is fun and checking out the different sections. There are hammocks located in different areas on the beaches that guests are free to use and there are playgrounds at the resort too. I’m currently working on a post about our recent stay at Caribbean Beach Resort, so that should be posted soon.
I hope you have a magical trip with your granddaughter! Make sure to get her a birthday button when you are there. Everyone will say Happy Birthday to her and she might even get some birthday desserts at some of the Disney restaurants.
Hope that helps! 🙂
I look forward to your posting on this resort. We will have the greatest time at WDW for her 8th birthday
I bet you will! It’s such a fun place to spend a birthday. 🙂
My only concern is the gator aspect
LOVE your blog! It’s part of my countdown to my next trip. Lots of great info-thanks!
Hi Sue!
Thank you so much for your kind words about the blog! It means a lot to hear that it is part of your countdown. I hear you about the gators, but they have the rocks and fences up as a block for the gators coming up on the beach. It definitely helped me feel a little safer when we were by the beach. 🙂
