The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Will Extend to Resorts This Year

More and more information is starting to be released for this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The Festival will run from September 14 to November 14 this year. It’s been announced that for this year the Festival will extend past the park.

For the 2016 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, guests will be able to enjoy some fun food offerings at some of the Resort Hotels. Last year the Festival extended into Future World, so it’s not surprising that they are extending it even farther this year.

Here is a list of the different experiences that will be offered at the hotels:

• Grand Floridian: “Brunch with a Twist at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa” – A 5-course meal that is prepared by the hotel’s award-winning chefs.
• Yacht Club: “The Secrets of Flavor at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort” – A 3-course lunch that will take place at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and will give you a “sensory-food connection.”
• Contemporary Resort: “Culinary Adventures with a Master Chef” – This will be a hands-on chef’s table experience and guests will be in a professional working kitchen.
• Polynesian Village Resort: “Behind the Scenes at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto” – Guests will get a tour of Trader Sam’s. Afterwards there will be lunch and a mixology session.

These all sound pretty good and I’m excited about the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival coming around again this year. We experienced it for the first time last year and had a great time. It was both fun and delicious, so I know it won’t be our last visit during this Festival.
